       Puck Hogs Local 242

PHL242, born in the 2001-02 season, was created by passionate hockey fans seeking fun, banter, player swaps, and a shared love for the sport. Originating from Small World Fantasy Hockey, it now unites nearly 200 managers across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Growing from 8 teams to 20 post the 2004-05 lockout, PHL242's "Puckapalooza" tradition began in 2005-06, marked by cross-country journeys for hockey camaraderie. The league's growth continued, expanding to 75 teams and welcoming international members, including a fan in Australia.

2015-2016 saw 105 teams in 7 divisions and our bucket traveling to France. We added 9 divisions, moved to Fantrax, and enjoyed more Puckapaloozas in LA, Vegas, and victorious moments on the pond ice in Colorado. The most recent is two of our managers following the Leafs on their California road swing in 2024.

We're back for our 25th season, aiming for 250+ members. We welcome all kinds of fantasy hockey enthusiasts to join our ever-evolving league. Let's dominate the fantasy hockey world together!
